Adolph M. Foerster’s Verzweiflung, op. 51, for soprano and orchestra, was published by Schuberth in 1924. The manuscrips for the parts are in an unknown hand. A manuscript in Foerster’s hand of a song for voice and piano with the same title and opus number is dated December 31, 1898.
