one of the latest songs of Stephen C. Foster, composed a short time before his death.
The music, in the Key of E♭, is a vocal solo with piano accompaniment.
Caption title: Beautiful dreamer : (serenade).
Page 5 is numbered, p. 1-4 and 6 are unnumbered.
Advertisement on p. [6]: "Bulletin Of New And Popular Music, Vocal And Instrumental, Published by Wm. A. Pond & Co., No. 547 Broadway, New York, Up-Town Store, 865 Broadway, bet. 17th and 18th Streets."
The mention of the "Up-Town Store" would make it seem a later edition than 1864, the only date on this edition. The first mention of the "Up-Town Store" is in an advertisement on an edition dated 1866.
