Collection contains Fidelis Zitterbart's manuscript compositions for many different musical genres. Zitterbart was an active music teacher, performer, and composer from the 1860s through his death in 1915. He was also a member of the New York Theatre orchestra, first violinist with the Theodore Thomas Orchestra, concertmaster of the Strakosch Opera orchestra, and a member of the Brooklyn and New York Philharmonic societies.
