Benteen as publisher on the title page and p.3, seems to have been published by Miller & Beacham sometime after 1853, when Miller & Beacham succeeded to F. D. Benteen & Co., since p. [6] contains an advertisemnt of "New And Popular Music, For The Piano Forte, Published By Miller & Beacham, (Successors to F. D. Benteen & Co.) No. 181 Baltimore Street, Baltimore." Miller & Beacham was at that address from 1853 until 1859. Cf.
